Welcome to Citta Psychology
I am a traveler, student, writer, Psychologist with a inquisitive nature
I offer a holistic approach that is reflected in my personal life.
My personal and professional quest are deeply interwoven and related to my own journey of self-inquiry and personal development. With many questions left unanswered by western psychology, strong winds of my unceasing inquisitiveness sailed east for me to explore other traditions. In 2014, I started practicing yoga and meditation, and in 2017 I embarked on a journey to Nepal and India.
I have spent many years in Dharamsala, India studying Buddhist Science of Mind.
What I found is a very profound inner science that has been exploring the mind and its potentials for millennia.
In Buddhist Psychology, mind & heart are often described by one word – Citta.
This ‘mind-heart’ has many dimensions, it’s a complex interaction of thoughts, feelings, emotions.
Our Method is aimed at transforming mind & heart to achieve optimal well-being.
Mind & Heart transformation is a journey, an inward journey into the nature of our mind and emotions.
Since genuine happiness is created by our mind, the better insight we have into the nature of our mind and emotions, the better equipped we are in creating the causes of genuine happiness.
Journey of Mind & Heart Transformation. Psychotherapy is a process aimed at cultivating optimal well-being and alleviating emotional distress.
Meditation is a translation from the Tibetan term GOM, which means to habituate. The term in Sanskrit ‘bhavana’ means ‘cultivation’.
Our workshops integrate wisdom traditions, contemplative sciences, modern psychology and scientific neuroscience research into a program for mind & heart transformation.
